BG Urban Cafe - Burnaby

The restaurant has a very attractive and modern design, but the issue lies with the food.

I had excellent service from the owner! However, I gave the restaurant 3 stars because the food was mediocre. The Thai curry chicken was nothing out of the ordinary.

The baked goods at this restaurant are scrumptious. Be sure to try the blueberry muffins, cinnamon knots, and cookies.

I love coming here, whenever I'm at Metrotown in Burnaby, BC. Although close enough to, it's situation, just outside the mall, gives it a very different feel. Service is pleasant and straightforward, the staff know what they're doing and get to it efficiently. Beverage and food selection is good, healthy and delicious. For atmosphere, it's relaxed and a nice change of pace from many cafes. You can sit quietly in comfy chairs or at tables for work or genial conversation, true, but there's something different about this place that will keep me coming back. If a shopping break becomes necessary, find your way to the BG Urban Cafe, right behind Metrotown Mall. It beats a food court hands down.
