Skyway Diner - Burlington

Went for the first time last Friday our server was Hanna and she was great! Very friendly and helpful with all the questions we had. She recommended the hamburger and fries for my husband and he was not disappointed. The atmosphere was very inviting not to noisy. We will be going back again to try the fish and chips this week and I can hardly wait. ??

First time at this restaurant and it was yummy. I always like to get my protein as well as something sweet for brunch so I went with the 2 eggs, choice of meat, breakfast potatoes and 2pancakes. Partner got omelette with back bacon and cheese. Both were delicious. Service was friendly, place is large so not too loud and music was appreciated.We will be back again.Wheelchair accessibility: Located on main floor of building and washrooms are also on same level. Some seating is up a few steps but available seating on ground level. I had a broken ankle so using crutches and it was fine.

The diner is huge and can accomodate loads of people. The food is always good and it is still a very traditional diner that you would hope for compared to most diners nowadays. The service is always good and the washrooms are well maintained. awesome place!

The waitress was very nice, however the food was awful... the eggs were over cooked and the pancakes were stone cold... We do not send food back in a restaurant, as a general rule. We ate one egg, maybe 5 home fries and both pancakes (around 50% of the meal), we did tell the waitress and she said would take care of it (we were nice about it)... However we could hear some person of authority (not sure manager or owner) yelling at the waitress about how we did eat the food... we were not asking for a discount, we just simply don't come back and don't recommend the restaurant to anyone... Again the waitress was nice, and did not deserve to get chewed out and have a scene made by whoever she was talking to... The person in authority should no better to make a scene like that as the whole restaurant was looking and we felt bad for the waitress getting in trouble...
