Bidrage med feedbackFood tasted great. Atmosphere was plain and simple, so all you need to focus on is the food. Favourite dish was probably the Wonton soup. Overall, it's good.
We've been driving to China button for years, about once a month. Typically it was good, some days better than others, but always okay. Until last week. We ordered General Tao Huhn and a house Special Cantonese Chow Mein. I was there under 10 minutes and the food was already bagged and on the counter. Went home and the chicken was warm, not hot, but tasted good. That chow mine was a mess. Half was drowned in the sauce. The other half, especially the noodles were raw. Like uncooked. After a brief discussion with my spouse, we decided to call and see if we could work out something. The young man I always talk to and I explained the problem with the chow mine. He told me it was cooked properly. I tried to explain that it had raw noodles and was said that the noodles should be. After a few minutes I gave up and told him that it was not acceptable and would not be back. He said "End". After years of being the customer and supporting them through a few hard years, they could not have looked after less. I am very disappointed and looking for a Chinese food store that takes care of its customers.
If you Google search China button comes with the name and address and 3 boxes. One is menu and one is website. You can click on any of them. When you click on the menu, it pulls the menu. We have written what we wanted, based on this menu and prices. It was appropriate what we usually order from another Chinese place. HOWEVER; when I picked up my son's order, it was 48.7% higher. I have printed out the website and brought it to the Burlington site on Walkers and they wouldn't give me the difference. They always say it's not their website. I believe as a business that makes online sales, they need to get this feast so other people suck in the purchase and have to pay 48.7% more when they pick up. Who owes me the difference Trip Advisor or China button. China taste doesn't tell her.
I'm so excited to share it! I finally found the worst Chinese food. I ordered the dinner for three and then ordered extra spring rolls. I was hoping to do a spring roll against egg rolls challenge to see what the best were. What I found was that they were both so greasy that they were unbearable; I could add that this is the first time I've never been ready to eat an egg roll or a spring roll. The rest of the dinner was average. We are usually looking forward to remnants, but this time we have not saved them, only tormented them.
We've been driving to China button for years. It's still my favorite place. The food is always fresh and well prepared. Excellent value, fast service, beautiful people. Very recommended.
