Not Your Average Joe's Burlington

Service was slow especially since not busy. Food was ok. I generally like this chain but wasn't best experience.

We are customers of NYAJ’s for several years. We had a nice lunch but we were concerned about the cleanliness of the restaurant. The front glass door looked like they had not been cleaned in three months. It was actually super filthy, and if you can see that on the glass, what’s on the handles? Sitting in the booth and looking around, around the restaurant, the glass and mirrors were terribly filthy, maybe your business is at night and people at night don’t notice it but during the day you certainly do! On a positive note our server was great and our lunch was delicious.

We had Jonathan as our server and he was outstanding. He was one of the best we ever had. Always there when we needed something and checking up on us but not intrusive.

Pretty empty restaurant. I asked for Sprite. It came out with no Sprite syrup, just carbonated water. It’s ok, I get it, it happens, but we could not get any servers attention to correct it! My husband was waving like a maniac anytime a server was near us. He said “it’s like they’re ignoring me!” Finally, another server comes over and brought me ginger ale instead, no explanation, no apologies . Was not comp’d on bill. I know it’s only $4 but still!!!! Food was good.

Everything was great. Our server Bella was excellent.
