City Market - Burlington

Place is like a Wholefoods, but a good option since there is not any near by. Updated from previous review on 2021-09-27

The hot meal/salad section sells big variety of vegetarian food. It is like buffet style, you take the food you want and weight and pay at the cashier. It is around 6.50 dollar per lb. You can either eat at the eating areas or do a take away. The food we took are all taste good. There is free outdoor parking for clients of the market.

Great selection at his store for vegans! I shop here when I'm in town. Highly recommend.

We just got back from Burlington and ate at the Market almost every day! They have a great hot and cold food bar with lots of tofu, tempeh and seitan dishes. And a great deli with tofu and tempeh to make sandwiches with. There's so many bread choices and so many fixin's that you could get a different veggie sandwich every day. Nice indoor seating with REAL silverware and a small outdoor seating area. Lots of bike racks. Perfect central location in town and the co-op has all your basic needs with great prices. Wish I had one of these at home!
