The Skinny Pancake Burlington Waterfront

Local chain aimed at tourists is fine for a quick snack with the kids or folks with simple palates, but please dont let the meal represent the burlington food scene. There are many unique and satisfying establishments in and around town. Try a local non-chain restaurant such as Stone soup, Cafe Hot or Cafe St Paul for a more elevated quick meal.

We waited an hour to be seated and served food, which raised our expectations for the meal. Unfortunately, the runny eggs we ordered did not come with bread, and when requested, we were informed that there would be a wait due to a busy kitchen. Additionally, I was told that I would be charged for the bread. While I appreciate the use of locally sourced ingredients, which may contribute to the higher prices, I will refrain from commenting on that aspect.

I could purchase all the necessary ingredients, return home, and prepare crepes on my own, and it would still be quicker than the service at this restaurant.

The food and service were both excellent. The menu offered a wide variety of enticing options.

My breakfast burrito was flavorful, perfectly cooked and the texture was perfect as well. The salsa kept me coming back long after I was full.
