Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana

I was really looking forward to dining here because I’ve heard a lot of great things about the White Clam Pizza. It was good, but the style of pizza isn't my favorite. The crust is extremely thin, resembling a slightly softer version of a Stacy’s Pita Chip, and while it was crispy, it didn’t quite do it for me. However, the flavor and generous chunks of clam definitely made up for the crust. There was a wonderful garlicky goodness with plenty of clams on top. Even though I prefer a softer crust, I wouldn't mind coming back for more.

Prepare yourself for some amazing pizza! The tomato sauce was outstanding, the crust was exceptionally good, and the cheese was fresh and flavorful. This is one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time.

My family and I absolutely adore this place. If you haven't tasted the fresh tomato pie, you're definitely missing one of life's greatest pizza experiences. It's that incredible! Just a heads up: it's available only from late June to mid-September, so make sure to enjoy it while you can! Also, be sure to dine in; taking the pizza to go is fine, but it loses a bit of its amazing flavor. BUON APPETITO!!

First time at Frank Pepes, will definitely try again.. Got the small Amante Della Carne, the box weighed 5 pounds lol. The crust was perfect, thin, crispy, burnt around the edges ????

With almost 100 years experience making pizzas, it is hard to argue against a solid reputation. So here I go. It seemed busier than what they are used to. One waitress working the floor. She came over several minutes after being seating and took our whole order even though we wanted to wait to order pizza. We each got a salad to start. Pizzas came to the table as we were finishing our salad. Got the original tomato pie with mozzarella and a meatball and ricotta. The thin crust was crispy with a little char but seemed to be lacking in flavor area. The sauce was also bland. The 1st pizza was topped with mozzarella and it was okay. The ricotta on the other pizza was creamy and fresh. Sliced meatballs had decent flavor. Open kitchen gives the space a nice look. If I'm ever shopping at the Burlington mall, I may stop for a slice to eat and run but not really a night out place. Maybe I need to take a trip to the original in New Haven, CT.
