Safeway - Burien

I usually can use my WIC card at the self checkout at different Safeway locations. I didn’t know this store doesn’t. I asked for help from an associate and her back was turnt. She had no problem helping. The problem was her assistant manager with a black vest; she was completely rude. “ I might as well do my work in my office if I’m going to keep getting interrupted.” She turns to her coworker and says, “ please catch people before they try their WIC cards.” First off my son was with me so that’s the only reason I tolerated your disrespect. I’m a customer have some kind way of notifying me.I don’t care about your work stress .

This Safeway is chronically understaffed. Their front end management is lacking, in that there doesnt seem to be much support staff for certain areas. The customer service, money orders, lottery and Western Union are frequently said to be closed for the day due to someone not being available There seems to be mostly one checker and a person at Self check out most of the time and staffing is so poor that a single call out causes catastrophe. It has been an ongoing issue for many months now, voiced by customers and employees alike.

Safeway is my favorite grocery store! They offer a wide selection of fresh produce, great deals, and excellent customer service. Convenient and reliable, I always enjoy shopping at Safeway!

This store has so many issues. It has a very poor and limited selection compared to every Safeway I have ever been too, even when it come to Safeways own specialties, like soups, fresh deli items, Chinese food, etc. there are no shopping baskets, and not enough shopping carts. I feel like the owners just let it be a ghetto Safeway because it’s in an area with some people who are lower income. The store is sad and needs drastic improvement.

Chaos!!! Pure Chaos!!! Some guy came in said he was just looking for a charger for his phone but the workers kept fukn with him, yelling profusely as he started throwing everything off the shelves to the floor There was no employees to help anybody else not even at the check stands Yeah to say the least It
