Bidrage med feedbackThe best Chinese food in bundaberg and the service was also great. I went to some other Chinese restaurants in the city and they were below average. but white china first nailed it. more expensive than the others, but it is worth it. in any case will go again to have more and more. **** nice eating and very helpful staff that made our night a great one.
White China deserves 4 stars. Food was tasty and very traditional in its form and taste. We have had Yum Cha and were pleased that everything was not oversalted or enhanced with msg. Certainly, the menu choices are somehow limited, but I can not expect the full range of Yum Cha dishes in a relatively small place as Bundaberg. Very pleased from most of the staff. Ken was very attentive and helpful and he stand out in a positive way. However, the young local guy was inappropriately casual in his communication. We would certainly visit White China again and try more dishes.
Had yum cha for lunch today, was a little disappointed by the food. The steamed beef dim sims were a little hard and tough, steamed Pork buns were sticky and lacking in flavour, salt and pepper pork was tough (seasoning good), sesame prawn toast and the chicken skewers were the best. Felt a bit sick afterwards. Was really looking forward to eating there.
Food was average and service was not good. Meals came at different times and half of us sat and watched the others eat.
Their service and food are totally terrible. We ordered one soup noodle, that taste like those instant noodles you can buy it from woolies. One fried noodles, that I need to keep pouring water in to dilute it, it feels like they dropped the whole bottle of salt into it. One black bean pork and chicken feet, both taste weird and very oily. Last but not least, their service, I went into the restaurant speaking English saying that we already have a table cos my friends are inside, the old man sees that Im an Asian so he speaks Mandarin to me and politely I reply him back in Mandarin. Alright, after that horrible and expensive meal, I went to the cashier and pay, so I speak Mandarin to the old man to confirm what I have ordered. He used a very sarcastic tone and said In this country, you have to speak English ok wth?? who is the one who speak Mandarin to me first?? and my mother tongue is not even Mandarin! He didnt even bother how was our meal, he only bother if I speaks English.
