Uncle Chan's Chinese Restaurant

Went here for dinner purely because it was close to where my hotel was.The young person who served me was very rude and not helpful at all. Was tempted to leave but another lady came out of the kitchen who was much nicer.Ordered the crispy skin duck. It was ok but for the price not worth it. They also do a buffet and this looked very tired. Wouldn't go back again.

A la Carte or smorgasbord options. Small, tired, cheap looking dining area. Self serve smorgasbord had what I'd call poor cleanliness. Service was OK. In smorgasbord the meat dishes had little meat and abundance of veg. Rice looked gluggy. Other options fried.I had stir fried vegies which was OK...no massive flavours jumped out and nothing special.I'd say definitely order off the menu. They have good GF options which is a positive.

I went to this restaurant in March when I stayed a night in Bundaberg and had a very satisfying meal. It was so good that when travelling to Far North Queensland again last week, I deliberately stayed in Bundy so I could eat there again. Again, it did not disappoint. Best dish that I have had is the BBQ Pork with plum sauce! Staff are friendly and traffic is pretty constant indicating that locals view it favourably as well. Highly recommended.

I have travelled and eat out always, I landed in Bundaberg after a long drive, the Motel had a few takeaways that deliver, i thought yes chinese. Give it a go. WHAT A MISTAKE.THE SHORT SOUP, WAS SO UNDERCOOKED. gut ache material.. then 2 mains and a rice. The rice was stodge, ... for a main sweet and sour pork.. tastless, tough meat, soft not crisp. Nasty taste. Chicken chow mein.. Pre fabricayed frozen chicken pieces.Please dont waste your money..utterly disgusyed, will be telling the motel management to pull there flyers. When i actually went and collected the order, which i was told 10 minutes, i should of realized, this was not going to be cooked fresh.. they do friday night buffet and id say i got the scraps.

We had the smorgasbord was nice but luke warm . Service was very friendly . We wished we had ordered off the menu the meals coming out looked so much better and smelt amazing .
