Simply the Best ..FISH, CHIP and BATTERED SAUSAGE in town! TRULY GREAT FOOD, with proper old style, thick cut chips all served by lovely staff including its wonderfully helpful and friendly owner Sinead (and her Dad, Tommy). ..A REAL TASTE experience. We will be sure to call whenever we are back that way again!

We came and we got profiled because of are english friend and that we are young kids are friend has a stutter and she mimicked him when he was apologising and then she continued to try and kick us out for being paying customer just because are age and we were the only people in the restaurant therefore i will not be coming back to this **** restaurant racist profiling people

Ordered a takeaway by phone. When I went to collect was told I didn't order from them .I showed them their number on my phone basically was told I had to wait . No apology and quite rude

Got takeaway, here on a Saturday evening. Ordered 3 philly-steak Wraps and 3 garlic and cheese chips. The Garlic and cheese chips were okay, the chips were a bit greasy, but that is part of the chipper thing. However, the Philly steak wraps..

After reading some of the great reviews on this place I wondered if we were in the same Tommy 's but yes we sure were. Walked in at 5.00pm place empty. Most tables had dirty plates on them with lots of food left on most of the plates. So much for the Yummy Tasty food reviewers. 2 uniformed girls and boss all talking so we went to the take away counter to check how we should order. The boss then came to our table and took our order. 1 Lasagna chips plus 1 curry chips with cheese. Went to the counter to choose 1 apple square and one piece of apple tart both with ice cream for desert. Guess what the apple square we chose was cut in half to a mere finger slice an the ice cream machine wasn 't working so we waited for the thinest of runny ice cream. My lasagna was supposed to be thier special It was dry and horrible. It was so bad that my wife tasted it and said you can 't eat that you should complain. To be quite honest maybe I should have complained but I firmly believed to after what we experienced I would be wasting my time! My wife paid up and I went out to the car. When she came out she said that she thought it was expensive. When I checked the bill I saw that we had not had the items listed. My wife returned to speak to the boss and he looked at the bill and said laughingly yes she is always doing that He gave my wife back the amount overcharged. No SORRY or any apologies. WHAT A PLACE! Do yourself a favour and give this place a wide berth. Maybe it is us, or maybe this is what the local irish people are prepared to accept. I guess the locals must be happy with it as the place is still in business
