La pause miam - Bunbury

Thankyou for a wonderful brunch today! First timers and very happy tummys! The chilli scrambled eggs were amazing. Croissant eggs bene and pb hot choc so cool!

The cafe is strongly reminiscent of a typical arcaded French cafe. The menu is largely Aussie/American but with some signature French/Aussie items. The croque Monsieur, croissants and soup are all very tasty. The BLT and other light meals are fair value.

A pretty new cafe opened in town last year. Our first visit was a bit mishap as their coffee machine was out of order. This is the second visit and having a lunch finally. In general, at that time they were still pretty new so service was a bit slow. The food was OK but not really difficult dishes for those we ordered. And on the price tag is a bit dear compared with the quality and quantity. The ingredients are quite fresh though.

Popped into this cafe with a friend before work. Service was friendly and prompt. I had a chai latte which was delicious. I also had the smashed avo, which was fresh and tasty. Tad expensive for what you actually get though (one egg and one piece of bread), but it was still filling.
