Apollo's Coffee Shop - Bulverde

I average 3 plus times a week going to Apollo coffee. They definitely have the best coffee and service. The Americano is our favorite. I definitely would not waste my time and money going to Dutch Brothers, go a couple more miles north on 281 and support the locals.

I ordered a large iced sticky toffee drink. I asked them to put less ice in my drink, because it was all ice. I really enjoyed this coffee place also trying to support small business. My grandfather owned his own business. The girl at the window with brown curly hair gave my drink back with an inch and 1/2 of coffee missing. I asked her why did you not fill it to the top of the cup. HER ANSWER WAS WE DO 16 OZ’S. That is false advertisement, if you are not going to fill the cup get a smaller cup you idiots. SHE GAVE MY DRINK BACK TO ME LAUGHING, THINKING IT WAS FUNNY. I called them and told them do that to every customer you will see your traffic go down immensely. I get less ice from Starbucks, Dunkin, Dutch Bros, Black Rifle, etc. NO COFFE PLACE HAS EVER BEEN SO INSULTING AS YOU GUYS.I work in a large retail establishment right before you get to town of Bulverde. I work with people who live in Bulverde and spring branch. I will spread the word.LAUGHING AT YOUR CUSTOMERS IS NOT A GOOD THING. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Yesterday was the last visit for me to Apollos. Over the last weeks I had been stopping almost daily to get a coffee and a muffin or kolache. Why is it my last time there? There is lady with a tattoo sleeve that works there that gives off the most unwelcoming vibes. Don't know who she is, she is a bit more mature than the other girls that work there and is just so tense and aggressive. The last couple of times there I have looked past it thinking maybe she's upset due to someone calling out and she had to fill in, but it appears this is the default attitude she carries. Is the coffee good? Yes. The service when she is not there? Very good. There are so many options on where to get coffee, and I wanted to support a local shop. Unfortunately Apollos will not be the shop I support.

Very kind barista who answered a few questions. Drive through coffee spot off a highway, don’t blink!, you might zoom by. Coffee taste is covered by sweetness, as other reviewers state. So, if you’re into coffee ask for light syrup. Frozen coffee drink options are a cool option, pun intended. This was a second try. Some people love this place. Definitely better than a Starbucks. Wait time isn’t bad at all. Gives you time to make a decision on the menu.

Lots of coffee snobs in the comments here, and also people who have apparently never had a soccer mom suburban full of kids in front of them at Starbucks smh ? The girls all do a great job here of making things as speedy as possible. I'm here at least 2x a week and have never waited more than a few minutes to order. Coffee is fantastic, and yes, a little sweet, but I like it that way. I'd recommend having an online menu with more options than what's on the side of the shack, and if y'all made a reusable cup we could buy with your logo on it that'd be awesome, but other than that, Apollo's is 5 ? ?
