Trattoria with a genuine flavour, excellent home cooking and simple dishes that you hardly find elsewhere. Reservation recommended

On August 2, 2023, I, my husband, our sister-in-law, with adult grandchildren and great-grandchildren, had dinner in this place in our town which should be a simple trattoria with tasty but simple dishes of Tuscan cuisine and consequently with simple prices. The restaurant is open from Monday to Friday, that is, on weekdays, which means that the clientele is made up of workers and therefore, being a trattoria, it should have decidedly affordable prices. BUT IT 'S NOT REALLY LIKE THIS. As an appetizer we were served a miserable dish consisting of: a slice of ham, one of salami, one of bacon, 2 strips of bread, one with meat and the other with tomato, and calling them crostini is really too much. A spelled salad with 2 or three cherry tomatoes and two or three cubes of mozzarella and which had not seen the dressing; as a first course, a plate of deconstructed macaroni, i.e. the tomato on one side and the minced meat on the other to be assembled ... As a second course, a plate of two very thin slices of roast beef and two equal slices of pork loin, one of baked ham with roast potatoes (only positive thing); a taste of saved and tasteless tripe, a dessert (panna cotta), house wine, coffee. All for a total of €30 each!!! In simple but more welcoming trattorias with kinder staff than this one nearby for around 4-5 euros and in others for 4-5 euros less we ate better and more and with dishes of true quality and quantity. We won 't be back, we don 't recommend it and we gave it one star because you can 't get less. A word of advice: take note of these criticisms as I am not the only one to review negatively.

L'ATMOSFERA familiare che la contraddistingue mi mette a mio agio oltre a mangiare piatti tradizionali molto buoni , la consiglio!

Tutto buonissimo cucina super casalinga e simpatia verace, sanguigna, tutta Toscana. Divino il baccalà alla livornese, molto buoni anche i dolci. Da tornarci!!

Ci vado spesso, i ragazzi non.sbagliano mai, e ripeto mai! Il bollito di stasera con salsa verde, strepitoso!
