Bidrage med feedbackWe just had the most delicious wonderful dinner at Sperata for my mother’s birthday. Each dish was thoughtful, beautiful, and beyond tasty. I highly recommend this for dates, events, or any time you want a 12/10 meal. Just delicious! Thank you!
Excellently prepared cuisine by the Chef, excellent service from Oliver. Oliver papered us from the minute we walked in. The restaurant is very nice and offers a beautiful intimate atmosphere. I would recommend Sperata to anyone who likes a very nicefine dining Experience.
Four of us went for dinner on Saturday, July 2. My wife and I had a salad and the seafood dinner, which was 4 shrimp, a shrimp cake, which was mainly cake, and risotto. An absolute joke, but a huge money maker for the owner! Nothing is priced on the menuand they don't give you an itemized check, just a total, for obvious reasons!! Never again! The owner doesn't get it per hisresponse. Customers want an itemized bill BEFORE they pay $400.00 so they know what they're being charged for!! And the seafoodcake was definitely not 100% seafood! I've been eating seafood at restaurants for 50 years.
My husband and I are never disappointed as whatever we order is wonderful. The meals I order almost always come with lentils which I love. The portions are large, the Wait Staff is Terrific and when they have their Piano Player, I could sit there forhours. I love going there over the Christmas Holidays which we've not been able to do for the past two years. As we will bemoving out of state shortly, we will definitely make a reservation for one last time. Whenever we are back in Georgia we willmake a reservation.
The food is not worth the price at all and our waiter had a snide attitude. It took us 45 minutes to get our food. Finally, when my husband received his entrée he didn’t even like it whatsoever. To say something positive we did enjoy the escargot and wedid like the music. To the owner who replied. We had shared with the waiter that we were Italian and originally from the NewYork/New Jersey area. He looked amused, then he proceeded to speak in a fictitious Italian voice poking fun at us and ourheritage while calling out to the chefs with our order…it was very off-putting, to say the least... Maybe you'll remember nowor at least your waiter will.
