Bidrage med feedbackWe had walked for three hours when we realized that hunger was upon us and there was Rio Alba. a warm traditional BA restaurant with a grill we ordered steaks and they came out and looked they would tip the table over. We asked if others were joining us? we couldn't eat half. Well done steaks good service
Buenos Aires, like most big cities, has its fair share of modern restaurants. Rio Alba is not one of them. It's a place where the tables have white tablecloths and the waiters, wearing starched white aprons, try very hard to ensure you have a great time. The menu offers lots of choices (meat and other things) and, for those who can't eat a lot of meat, half serves are available. It's not a cheap restaurant but the steak was superb, the wine recommendations spot on and the service friendly and efficient.
Excellent food, the best "ojo de bife I've ever tried , the service was very good and the ambience too
About 2-3 blocks from the American Embassy, a favorite with the diplomats. Packed for dinner and on weekends not so much at weekday lunches. Has charm, great steaks and old school waiters. We had the rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding here a few years ago and rented out half the Restsurant. It was memorable. Even though the guide books rave about it since it's not close to any tourist haunts few non-diplomat Americans venture in. TRY it though. Better than its more famous named competitors and worth the cab ride
The French fríes with garlic and parsley was amazing! And not talking about the meat! Best I've ever tried. ❤️
