Bidrage med feedbackWe went this restaurant four years ago with Argentine friends. and again visited. mostly Argentine people were there. ı recomend to feel argentenian atmosphere.
This is a typical Argentine restaurant with large portions. I visited with a friend for lunch on Tuesday and the restaurant was almost empty.
We had a meeting with friends in this restaurant. I ordered a beef that was 'not particularly good, but the price was 't high either so everything in all it was okay. One of the groups ordered fish, but it was sent back to the kitchen because it was not cooked enough. The best of this restaurant is the typical Bodegón ambience. There are better restaurants
This restaurant has been here since 1930. Food is excellent and cheap. Many locals flock it wonderfully for meat, fish and pastas. Waiters have been there forever and serve you well. Do not understand why there are not many tourists, but maybe Lezama is not...mind. I'm not honest either. Same owners just opened a new restaurant next door, Avelino, I guess in the hope to attract a younger crowd and perhaps tourists. But yesterday, when Lezama was almost full, Avelino was empty. I had ravioli de verdura with bolognese sauce and it was delicious, the grilled shrimps were also fantastic. As demonstrated by Lezama's longevity when food comes good customers, even if the decor is not too trendy. I definitely come back.
I'm both, therefore I absolutely love this place with a passion. Brings back many happy memories from my childhood...hell, their entire staff was working there the first time I went like...30 years ago. The food is good enough if you know your way around the...menu, large portions, reasonably priced, and a very nostalgic vibe of times gone by. Foreigners might not understand this place and that's fine by me.
