La Parolaccia - Buenos Aires

In any case one of my favorite restaurants. every time I'm in buenos aires, I have lunch here. they have a great lunch menu, cheap, with a grest selection of appetizers, main dishes, desserts and weeps. they also have free foam wine with the appetizers....The servier staff is really great. I've been eating here for years and I've never been discouraged.

Well located. with a very beautiful terrace, covered with trees. good food, weine with acceptable price for a restaurant. my only observation is that the service of an Argentinian waiter to Argentinian clients in which they treat foreign clients is usually different. I was eating friends last Saturday. the restaurant is friendly, service is slow but pretty good. the ambiente is cool and demanding. that doesn't eat so well. I ordered gnocchis that had no taste. I left most of it and usually ate the cheese gratiné. how bad for such a beautiful place.

We ate at the recoleta location on their beautiful terrace, the service was very efficient and the menu was delicious. two aperol splashes ended the meal, we would return happy.

We were 5 couples who were excited to try this well-rated Italian restaurant on the riverside on Puerto Madero. We were seated quickly enough as soon as we arrived before 9 pm when only 2 other tables were occupied. They had to put 3 small...round tables together. There were only about 6 place settings. Someone dropped off 3 baskets of bread but had to be asked for more settings which were brought but we were not given bread plates. A waiter took several minutes to come by and when asked about menus, he pointed to a sign with a QR code and dashed away to take someone else's order. No explanation or greeting. No offer of wifi. No water or offer for drinks. And still no bread plate. After waiting several more minutes, the maitre d was informed about the absence of menus and lack of service. He didn't come over after seeing the waiter hand us 2 menus for all of us. Still no greeting from him. No water or bread plate or any other service. After more than 30 minutes waiting and watching 2 or 3 other tables of diners being served after us, we had to leave. This service will not be tolerated. We have never had to walk out of a restaurant before but we tolerated NO Service for too long before deciding to do so. On outside, we were not given any apologies when we told them why we were leaving. HORRIBLE place who discriminated against us because only one of us spoke English and most of us were non-white.
