Bidrage med feedbackOur family was with Clarks to celebrate the World Cup final when Argentina defeated France. While it was a party, we later developed Giardia from the fruit salads that were served. This leads us to the question of the kitchen staff and how the food is prepared. We narrowed the source of infection to this restaurant based on where and when we ate what ate, and the deforestation period for this infection. Take care of the cleanliness of this restaurant.
We stayed in a hotel around the corner of Clarks on our trip to Buenos Aires and ate here three times, after a bad experience eating in the restaurant next to Clarks on our first night (can not remember the name) we came to...Clarks for lunch the following day and again twice for dinner at a few of the following evenings. The staff was excellent, I would recommend the picanha, just melt in the mouth, in fact we preferred the meat at Clarks in the famous La Cabrera restaurant in the evening. The food is a good value for money and the staff has also recommended some really nice and inexpensive wines to go with our dinner.
The decor is very unique. The staff is friendly and attentive, but they also offer you time to eat without interruptions. The salad was good. The steak was rarely ordered and cooked accordingly. The ribeye had good taste. The ribeye had a...small more fat and internal connective tissue than I expected from a steak house, but not a deal breaker.
We had a great meal with great service and wine. The woman had the patagonian lamb and I had the picaña. Our waiter was excellent and everything was good.
Awful steak. So tough. Sent it back and was refunded. Service was good. Looks like place has a good heritage. Maybe trying to skimp with poor cuts of meat nowadays to get more profit. A shame.
