Bidrage med feedbackItalian food and very good meat. Also is a bar and a coffin place. Good quality and attraction. Prices
When I left, this was a side point in the restaurant of the same name. Much simple place and food, but of much better quality. Will soon see if it has changed like the restaurant) or if still simple and good.
Cheap restaurant for Buenos Aires. It was almost empty, not a good sign. Quality of food is very good, but not excellent. They charge international prices, compared to other restaurants in Buenos Aires. Service is very good. For foreigners, the price could be fine, but... there are better alternatives with better prices. The good for meat lovers is that Bella Italia Grill is one of the few places in Buenos Aires where you can eat the typical cut Asado de Tira in the Uruguayan way (more meat on the bone).
The Bella Italia Grill Bar is one of three Bella Italia restaurants in a two block area of the Palermo district of Buenos Aires and I have eaten all three. This review focuses on the Bella italia Grill Bar. There were three in our party. My wife and nephew shared a 400gm steak and I had the gnocchi with Bolognese sauce. We all won. My gnocchi arrives shortly before her steak and a short taste proved that the best gnocchi I ever had was and that concludes the gnocchi I lived in Bologna, Italy during the year I was living. I was rich and delicious. I was happy to share some with my companions for what happened next. Shortly after they were served my gnocchi, her steak arrived. The aroma of steak was so convincing that I had ordered the steak first, but then we have to make all the difficult decisions. To have friends and family that facilitate the burden of decision making. My nephew shared a few bites of his steak with me and the taste was equal to his aroma. Both the gnocchi and the steak were excellent. I would recommend the Bella Italia Grill Bar to everyone in Buenos Aires. To close, I would also like to stress that the restaurant is on a quiet street with shade trees. There are exterior and interior seats and the service is excellent. Desserts excellent, but this review is for later.
We ate here twice as we enjoyed it so much the first time. Aussie girls were craving salads and raved about the tuna salad. I had the best prawn risotto first time round, very flavoursome I'm sure they had used homemade seafood stock during...preparation and I can also recommend the mushroom gnocchi which was light and full of flavour. Friendly staff though not many spoke English, well patronised by locals, not too expensive (cheaper than a good pub meal at home and better quality food). Local wine is also cheap and very good!!
