Bidrage med feedbackThe women at the counter are consistently friendly. The atmosphere is great, and the food is tasty. I also love that you can fill your own small cups with salsa and any other toppings you desire. Overall, I would give the food a perfect 5/5!
I ordered the same carnitas tacos, but they were missing the green sauce on top, had an excessive amount of onions, and the oily sauce was just awful—definitely a 1 out of 5 stars. The el pastor tacos were also bland compared to the ones in Orange, so I’d give those a 2 out of 5 stars. The rice was good, though, and I'd rate it a solid 4 out of 5 stars. I also tried everything at the salsa bar. The mild salsa was decent but tasted a bit watered down, so I’d give it a 3 out of 5 stars. The medium salsa was good, earning a 4 out of 5. The creamy chipotle sauce, on the other hand, was terrible—it lacked the amazing flavor and kick that the Orange location delivered. This one was way too smoky, drowning out all the other flavors, so I’d rate that a 2 out of 5 stars. Overall, it seems like either the chef at this location was having an off day, or the Orange location is just significantly better. I don't think I'll be returning here anytime soon; it's worth the extra travel to go to the Orange branch. I’d recommend avoiding this one! On a positive note, the staff were friendly, and the restaurant was clean and inviting, but the food left much to be desired.
The location is clean and not very crowded. I ordered two burritos—one with carne asada and the other with Al Pastor. The meat was mediocre, and my friend and I received very little of it. When we inquired about the small portion, two out of three staff members explained it was due to the spoon they used for serving. The third staff member approached us silently and shot us a disapproving glance. Her silence spoke louder than words. While they did try to accommodate us, the service was lacking overall. I probably won't be returning.
Save yourself the trouble and drive up a few blocks to a real Calle 'street ' taco shop. Got a Sprite and it was flat. Went for a Coke and FLAT. All sodas were flat. No fizz at all. Boyfriend 's Al pastor taco was dry. Just don 't do it.
Carnitas taco was extremely dry, salsa could have helped. When I ordered my tacos I specifically asked for salsa on the side, at no time was I directed to a salsa bar. The place was nearly empty. I was very disappointed that salsa was not in my to go order! When I called to complain the girl I talked to was rude. The prices are high for the tiny tacos. Don't think I'll be back
