Jjang - Buena Park

My family lives about 30-40 minutes away, but driving here for great food and a fun atmosphere is always worth it. Our usual order includes the sweet fried chicken, rice cake, tteokbokki, kimchi stew, seafood fried rice, bulgogi rice rolls, and spicy pan-fried octopus. You can't go wrong with the grilled garlic and chicken gizzards either. Dining here is always a delight as we indulge and feast. The staff and waiters are consistently friendly, and the food typically arrives quickly. However, on busier nights, it may take a few extra minutes. My family and I are regulars, and I would definitely recommend this place!

Here's a post-Covid review. I appreciate how this restaurant implemented numerous safety precautions in response to the pandemic. Unlike many places that just rearranged their tables under a temporary setup, this restaurant genuinely thought everything through, and it really shows. I was especially impressed by how they packaged food items in individual zipper bags! I highly recommend trying their bar food along with a pitcher of beer served in frosted cups or some ice-cold soju!

The portions are enormous! I would definitely come here if I were extremely hungry, as you can easily tackle a whole rice cooker full of fried rice or a flour sack full of noodles. The flavors are fantastic as well—definitely worth it! I recommend trying the spicy kimchi roasted rice and the spicy pork piles. So delicious!

The beef stew is one of the best soups I've ever had. The service was quick and friendly. The prices are decent. The atmosphere is fun and casual. You have large screens TV with funny Korean shows and funny pictures on the wall. They deliver to the Billiards Square next door. Try this place you will love.
