Sideways Inn - Buellton

Their cable and wifi aren't very good. Lots of noise from other rooms. Bed wasn't comfortable to me. If you're looking for somewhere to stay for a night or 2 it's ok. Shower has hot water and they have a place to sleep. Honestly you could do just as well or better someplace cheaper.

On a positive side, the double room and the beds are large. The bathrooms are new, however, the design makes the floor wet after each use. The overhang roof outside makes the room dark all day. Parking lot and gas station are the views from the room. I am really disappointed by the hotel claiming that the “breakfast included”. The “breakfast” is a bag delivered to the room with either a donut or a “croissant” with an orange flavored sugary drink and inedible fruit. The “croissant “ is a nasty tasting piece of bread wrapped in plastic. The premises and the service is what you would expect from an upgraded 1+ motel. It’s no where near the 3 stars property it claims to be. The service is non-existing. The laundry machine took my coins without providing the service. The service desk offers me to help myself by calling the the company that manages the laundry machines on their property. They cannot help with anything here.

Friendly and helpful staff. I prefer ground level rooms due to access to the back sliding glass doors leading to a patio. Lovely pool, jacuzzi, and firepit. Restaurant, bar, and gift shop availability. Family-friendly atmosphere. Wish I could give 10 starsRooms: Large room and bath. Easy access to pool area ?Nearby activities: Solvang, shopping, restaurants, and my favorite wineries ?Safety: No concerns.

Really enjoyed stay. Great location. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Near by restaurants and attractions. Will definitely come back. Pet friendly. Location also near freeway and never knew was so close. Never heard.

Wonderful place to stay in Santa Ynez Valley. Staff was very accommodating and place was very clean, modern, updated, and quiet. We will be staying here again whenever we get the chance. Lots to see and do, also. Centrally located.
