Taverna Covaci - București

We had not seen the bad reviews before we ate here, which is the same, because our experience was completely different from many of the other posters. The staff was polite and efficient. The traditional Romanian meal was excellently washed with some very good wine from indigenous Romanian grape varieties. We found absolutely nothing to complain. If we're ever back in Bucharest, we'd certainly eat here.

Large traditional restaurant with friendly staff. The food was very delicious and the waiting time for serving was minimal. We had a pleasant evening here. We highly recommend.

Nice food, friendly staff, great atmosphere. The food looked like the pictures in the menu. I'd go back there.

It looks nice on the inside, thought we may of stumbled upon some thing good and I had a look at trip advisor while sat at the table and for some reason it showed four stars. Food was subpar, the music was overbearing and the singer wanted tips. Worst off all they made the price up with the tip included.... our dinner cost what we would of paid somewhere a lot, lot better! Stay Away.

Worst place. Do not fall for the cool pictures, it is much worst inside. Food is service not present prices are ridiculously high (probably because it is easy to cheat the tourists so... Owner is pathetic think he owns the best restaurant in the city My proposal is not spending your time there and go immediately to the next restaurant do not support scams.
