Restaurant Barca - București

We stayed at Barca during a visit to nearby Casa Ceausescu, a bit outside the center of Bucharest, but worth the trip. The menu was extensive and mostly raw, but with some hot soups. Unfortunately, I didn't feel very good this day, and a soup and...green juice was all I could. But it was delicious, and really hit the place. And I got a delicious slice of raw orange and passion fruit cake that I enjoyed later: We were honored to have the opportunity to visit the owner who had lived in the USA and has a wonderful commitment to veganism. I wish we had found it earlier in our trip so that I would have tried more of the menu items!

Barca has an extensive vegan menu of cooked and raw dishes. I am not vegan or vegetarian but I think the food is absolutely delicious. The portions are perfect and you’ll leave feeling satisfied. They also have some great smoothie options. The waiting time is...a bit long for some of the dishes, but this is indicated on their menu. Great, friendly service. I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Mâncarea este foarte bună, chelnerul este foarte amabil și cunoaște foarte bine felurile de mâncare, muzica este decentă, iar atmosfera este plăcută!
