Explorers Irish Pub - București

The place was nice for a friends evening out. The food was good with a very interesting shepard's pie. Interesting selection of beers. The service was great, they even dimmed the music a bit at our request.

This pub has everything, location, prices are good and food is great. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. Food is typically pub grub cheap and good - large pizza about £4They serve all sorts of drinks - even the less well know branded spirits. It is a nice place to have a drink without feeling like you must order food (as is the. case in so many restaurants and pubs nowadays.)

Very nice bar lady who was helpful and friendly - she even remembered us when we returned! We only had a beer (or 2!) so cannot comment on the food. Good beer and good value.

This place is greatly located on a less crowded street in the old center of Bucharest and declares itself an Irish pub, which it could be, only it's missing the atmosphere.From the food point of view, you get big plates of good enough food. I won't say it's the best I've ever had, but they do make very good pizza, and their Guinness pork ribs are usually great (when they're not too fat).The sandwiches and quesadilla are also very tasty, and the fries that come with most dishes are real home-made fries, which is quite rare to find in a pub.Bonus points, they have a wide selection of import beers, which are a bit cheaper than in similar pubs.The service could be better (although not all waiters are bad, some seem to really not want to make an effort).

This is a great place for both food and drinks. We went in a couple of times as we were in the area, and always had great and friendly staff and good food and drink. Prices are good, too.
