Belviso Restaurant & Lounge - Bucharest

I was out for a stroll around Old Town on a sunny afternoon looking to have a snack or a dessert in a cozy friendly atmosphere. The hostess was friendly and welcoming so I decided to give Belviso a try. It was relatively quiet and they only had a few tables with what appeared to be one waitress working. I had the pancakes with chocolate along with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was okay. The service was nothing special. The environment was okay. It was average. The server could have been nicer. Their card machine didn't work although I knew my card worked. The waitress asked if I had cash. I paid up and left. The hostess cheerily thanked me and said goodbye.

Nos sentamos a cenar ya que era uno de los pocos restaurantes de la zona que tenían sitio libre, pero el servicio fue bastante lento, hasta tuvimos que pedir la cuenta 3 veces y la comida no era nada del otro mundo. Al final dos platos de pasta y dos cervezas nos salió por 63 lei.

To be honest the place has great potential. The staff was nice and the food was tasty (the quesadilla was amazing!). However the area was a bit unpleasant - about 6 panhandlers passed by our table during an hour long stay.

Jeg og min mann gikk innom her å tok en lunsj. Denne ligger I gamle byen. God mat og god service. Og billig var det å. Anbefales.

Weekend a Bucarest con la famiglia. La sera prima di ripartire andiamo a cena nella città vecchia, da Belviso. Prima di sederci abbiamo chiesto se fosse stato possibile pagare con carta di credito e la cameriera accogliendoci ci conferma di si. Passiamo una serata gradevole, buon cibo. A fine serata chiediamo di pagare con carta di credito e la cameriera dopo aver finto un malfunzionamento del pos chiede il pagamento in euro. Stesso trattamento ad altri due turisti prima di noi. Peccato, avevamo mangiato bene. Ma il servizio e la fregatura finale hanno abbassato completamente l'opinione. Non lo consiglio assolutamente!!!
