Ransone's Drug The Fountain Sandwich Grill

We decided to give this charming little restaurant a try, and we were very pleased with our choice. It's a cozy diner that feels straight out of a Hallmark movie or the town of Mayberry. The chicken salad sandwich was the best I've ever had, and the fries were just right. The kids ordered a cheese pizza and were delighted with it. The 12-inch pizza lasted the two teenagers quite a while on their trip. It was cut into small rectangles, making it easy for small hands to manage. The service was exceptional—friendly and prompt. Prices were reasonable for the portion sizes and quality of the food. This lovely little town is definitely on our list for a return visit. We did have a bit of confusion finding it using our GPS, as we had to backtrack about a mile. It’s accessible from exit 168, and then you head south, but we were glad we continued on and discovered this beautiful little town.

I had lunch there yesterday with my son and fiancée after church to celebrate Mother's Day, and it was fantastic! The food was delicious, our server was amazing, and the prices were very reasonable.

My wife had heard from a friend about this restaurant. It offers a lovely view and brings back feelings of nostalgia. The food and service were excellent. We will definitely return.

Great selection of food and plenty of atmosphere. Come here for a smiling face and good southern class. The food here is excellent and very fairly priced. The service here is excellent and they are always smiling! I never go to Buchanan without eating here at The Fountain!
