Mariscos El Payo - Bucerías

The best meal of our 2 weeks holiday was in El Payo. Delicious seafood. Enormous portions beautiful and hot from the kitchen. Excellent Cadillac margarita. We're coming back!

Excellent food, nice serving size, very fair price, great location. Payo and his family are wonderful hard working folks get to know them. The Emma tostadas with their roasted sesame flavor and fresh Mexican salsa complementary with your meal can't be beat. Top off your...chips with the smokey house made salsa negro and order a couple sides of guacamole to get started. We tend to stick with the Seafood dishes, mostly shrimp but it is all amazingly fresh and well prepared. Payo has two locations in town and one a little south on the highway. We are looking forward to his opening a new place on his ranch in November. Thank you Mariscos El Payo for all the great meals and memories.

Set in the town square of old Bucerías, this hole in the wall eatery has authentic Mexican food at such a reasonable price. Staff are friendly, service is not the quickest as everything is made to order....but boy is the wait worth it. Have a...margarita to set the tone of your meal. We keep returning for the Chicken Enchilada with verde sauce. Comes with salad, rice and retried beans...yum!

Mariscos El Payo is right by the town square with basic decor don't let it turn you away the food is unbelievable. I had a grande shrimp burrito and it was not only grande but loaded with shrimps and cheese! also comes with a salad,...rice, and refried beans. My wife had the chicken quesadillas and again she loved them! We ate hear twice in our four days in towns.

Mi novia recobró el gusto por los mariscos, al probar el sazón y buen sabor en este restaurante, es acogedor por la buena atención y la ubicación, delicioso, simplemente delicioso!!!
