Bidrage med feedbackThere's a large covered area with fans to rest escape the sun. Decent restrooms on-site with baby changing stations in both women/mens. I highly recommend buying the animal food for both the walk-around drive-thru. There are some concessions inside the store, albeit very expensive so might want to bring your own drinks/snacks. There were 2 giraffes, but could only access 1 to feed. The drive-thru was majority deer, however, there were zebras, ostriches, emus, bison, donkeys, llamas, longhorns when we went. I think there might have been 1 reindeer?? It is overpriced like most activities that would involve kids, but also fun an experience!
I'm on a mission to visit all of the wild animal safari parks. This is the youngest one of the bunch, but it's just as enjoyable. We traveled in from Houston, which is about a two hour trip. We arrived early (just a few minutes before opening) in anticipation of a busy day. Unlike the park in Georgia, the crowd doesn't arrive when the park opens. The animals aren't as active either. My niece and nephews had plenty of animals to interact with. We opted to take one of their vehicles versus our own. It's a comfy ride and there's AC available. The best part was the walkabout since the kids could interact up close with the animals. Oh, and they loved George the giraffe and the playground.
Nice getaway for a family. Although they don't have a wide range of animals. Just a lot of deer and few ostriches, kangaroos and a few more variety of animals.
This place was AWESOME! I loved it my husband did too. It was his first time being to something like this! It Was a cool experience and my 1 year old enjoyed it as well! We love animals though! And being able to interact was neat. It’s definitely a fun outing! Only thing that sucked was there isn’t food there besides like candy….. and hardly any drinks to choose from. I wish they had more of a variety of foods, drinks etc. But besides that it’s cool.
It was nice, but super overpriced. They charged us over $25 per ticket, and that's just to get in. Lettuce was $1 per leaf and feed cups ran at around $10. With all that said, they did have a good selection of animals (in the walk-through park rather than the drive-through segment). The most exotic ones present were probably the capybaras, otters, and kangaroos, otherwise they were all animals that exist in most zoos (giraffes, goats, etc). The drive-through safari was all common animals, like deer and cows. The aviary is cool, as you can walk through it and interact with the birds. All in all, it was a fun experience but I probably won't come back thanks to the price tag.
