Beautiful moments spent in total freedom and without formality with great food and punctual service. Rare quality and refinement of the courses in this beautiful farm. The frame of the village that deserves to be brought back entirely to life. Nature treated with animals in freedom. Relax!
What an amazing experience! The best food we had while in Italy, delicious wine, an unbeatable location and friendly owners. If you are nearby, a visit here is not to be missed. And if you're not, it's definitely worth the drive to this absolute gem of a restaurant!
Birthday lunch for 8 people. really beautiful and charming place, reachable with a dirt road that crosses a beautiful forest. comfortable and well heated room. lunch was great, from appetizers to desserts. especially among the appetizers the products sliced by them, the peppers with wet cauda and the cotechino of the house with the purè, but also excellent the first (agnolotti in roast sauce) and the second (stew of pork with potatoes baked). red wine of the house very pleasant and excellent sparkling wine of the greenhouse d'ivrea. price/quality ratio definitely favorable. possible payment with ATM. very kind and helpful staff also to tell the history of the castle, absolutely adequate times. nice walk after lunch in the immediate vicinity of the castle, both to start the digestion and to see the panorama towards the Alps.
We stayed at lunch for the day of the saints, booking the evening before. I found the lovely place, a bowling accommodation on the hill with some structures to renovate but charming, the day unfortunately was misty and rainy, but given the position dava air of mystery instead of desolation. nice, nice, clean place. Fixed menu. homemade bread, water and wine already at the table. starch bouche: first goat salt with cugná, very good. appetizers: 1- cup, culatello (the owner told us the precise name of the culatello but I admit not to remember it) and salami in the traditional oven, made in the company, good glass and culatello to throw on the ground the salami2 cooked- boiled potatoes, nuts, olives, celery, toma and soft eggs, not cold ice cream of the refrigerator (details that make the difference very good3-me things Great. I was also made to taste a slice of the pork thigh baked at the table next door, besides having appreciated the kindness, the meat was wonderful, tasty, tender, lean, splendid. sweets, at this point we almost wanted to throw the sponge so much that we were full, but instead we only peeled the belt and away: crème caramello and tiramisù, excellent the first, good the second.
