Sam Bass Saloon Steakhouse - Brule

I visited this restaurant on the fifth day of its six-day run, excited for a beer and steak. I arrived 30 minutes before the kitchen closed and ordered a beer. However, when I inquired about food, I was informed that the kitchen was already closed and all they had was stale chicken gumbo to offer me. I was extremely disappointed and will not be spending any more money at this establishment.

This place is closed. there is no sign indicating this. we had to go to motel 6 to find out.

I stopped here on a monday, no one was here because they were closed. it looked like a beautiful place. the flying j next door is beautiful.

Sure. I have visited this restaurant before. My partner and I always make it a point to stop by whenever we are passing through. It's really great. A hidden gem, perhaps.
