The food is delicious! Have tried several of their dishes and no complaints. I also enjoy the atmosphere. Our waiter was great. However, their front service is subpar. I made a reservation for 10, but only 8 were showing. When we arrived, they told us they couldn’t seat us because half of our party wasn’t here (I told them it would only be 8, and there was 4 of us there, 3 adults and 1 child). When we told them this they said the child didn’t count because he sits in a high chair, but the child is a 4 year old, waaay to big for a high chair. There were 3 hosts and they all kept whispering between each other not knowing how to respond or what to do. It definitely seemed like they didn’t want to seat us, even though I made a reservation and even put down my credit card info! When they finally take us to a table, they take us to a table of 6, when we told them 3 times it would be 8. I don’t understand the hassle if I made a reservation to begin with, and there were soooo many tables open. They need hosts who know what they are doing.

Wow, this is the hidden gem of Brownsville. Came here with some friends and was pleasantly surprised. I was not expecting the experiance that is Terra’s. If you are looking for a place to enjoy great drinks and foods, then Terra’s is the place.

Terrible Service!! They practically kicked us out. I had made a reservation for my birthday and the manager came to our table to tell us that we had only 2 hours in our table. I had left my credit card to make the reservation, yet I was not able to enjoy my birthday celebration. I had been warned that they do these things to customers but since I’ve always enjoyed dining at Terras I had refused to believe it. Well it’s true. If you are planning a birthday celebration go elsewhere.
