Ernie's Hamburger Stand - Brownsville

This was our first time dining here, and we highly recommend it. The taste of the food was exceptional, and the service was excellent.

This restaurant serves the best burgers in Brownsville, hands down. If you're looking for a burger that's not just hot but truly fresh, this is the place to go. The meat is packed with great flavor, and the buns are warm and lightly toasted. The fries are thick and hearty, a far cry from the thin sticks you get at fast food joints. The staff here are incredibly friendly, too. My grandmother and I make the trip from the other side of town nearly every week just to satisfy our burger cravings. These burgers are unbeatable compared to options like Stars, Whataburger, Rutledge, and others. I sincerely hope they never change a thing!

Very delicious burgers the classics from Brownsville Texas

Love their burgers! I called ahead for the first time to place my order and it took only about 10 minutes for my order to be ready. I got a double cheeseburger large, double cheeseburger small, and 2 small singles. Meat is thin but very good. I'd say they're better than Rutledge They're ice cream cookie sandwiches are also yummy and inexpensive. About 75¢ I think. And of course they have a bunch of other snacks too.

The burgers are amazing!! Can’t go wrong if you are looking for a old school burger. You know the one that are slightly crispy and fill of flavor.. 5 stars
