Poco Loco - Brown Deer

I had a good experience at Poco lLoco. The atmosphere was cozy yet laid back my the food was great, and the service. Looking forward to my next visit.

Overall it was an ok place. Would I recommend this place, absolutely not. The service was good but the food absolutely not. I ordered enchiladas and the tortilla was ripping because it was not thoroughly cooked and the meat was overcooked and was not fresh. My friend also got steak tacos and they just put a slab of meat. Usually steak comes nice and cut but not here. The only thing I liked was the patio that's about it. I also tried Café Corazón for the first time and hands down I recommend that place better than here!!

Nice local Mexican food. Quite small inside but they do have an outdoor seating. The price is reasonable and driver is fast. They open kinda of later, 11:30 for lunch.

The server, who was also bartending outside, was Meh. He wasn't unpleasant or anything, I think he was maybe just busy setting up the bar as well..idk. He was fine and the food was so good it made up for anything that wasn't perfect.

Outstanding little place that has a nice cozy atmosphere, a really great outdoor patio, and a decent variety of dishes and specials especially their smoked meats (pork brisket) which are fantastic when added to any of their dishes. the smoked pork butt is some of the best i've tasted especially on the taco platter. margaritas are good too and offered with a solid choice of tequilas. Parking: smallish lot, on busy nights can be a bit of a challenge especially with bigger trucks/suvs. good street parking though, too
