Okane Sushi Bar - Brossard

Okane Sushi Bar is a well-established restaurant in the area known for its popularity. The atmosphere is quiet, the staff is friendly, and the service is top-notch. This sushi restaurant, located in a quiet corner between a chinese and a vietnamese restaurant, should try to be more authentic if it is to be among the best in Brossard. For the soup you can choose between wonton or miso. The sushis adequate but...ginger slices should be pink instead of plain yellow. And the wasabi tastes completely bland which made me wonder where the chef got it from. Ambience and decoration are nice, price very reasonable.

I WENT alone for lunch, the waiter was vacuuming told me to have a seat kept vacuuming realized I was alone in the restaurant I get my food that was not as good as it used to be couple years ago. Then everyone disappear they...are behind the counter on their phone.I had to scream since i was calling them and they were not hearing me. Bad

This small little sushi bar is quaint and cozy. The decor is okay, a little dated and a bit tacky but they try, and make up for it by the good food and service they provide. The salad is fantastic, seafood soup is good, tempura...shrimp and veggies are great and sushis are big. Service is excellent. The price is a comparable to other sushi bars, just a tad on the high side but for the food and service, it is worth it. Will definitely be back soon with some friends!
