Mykonos Ii - Brooksville

I arrived at Mykonos to pick up some takeout at 7:10 PM. As I pulled into the parking lot, a group was leaving and the lights dimmed. I was taken aback to find out that they wouldn’t let me in to place my order, even though their closing time is 7:30 PM on Sundays. This information should be made clearer. When I explained to the waiter that I had driven quite a distance—10 miles from the other side of town—she simply told me to "come back another time." Since I don't live nearby, that's not very feasible for me. I should have called ahead, but who would expect a restaurant to stop serving at 7:10 PM, especially when they officially close at 7:30 PM? It definitely feels like a small-town mentality out here in Brooksville!

Mary makes the best sangria I've ever had, and the tangy plantains are definitely worth the trip! We also love the pressed Cubans and gyros, but the pizza is always a fantastic choice too!

My wife and I recently decided to try out a few places and I'm so glad we did. At first, I was hesitant to order Italian food at a restaurant with a Greek name, but we took the plunge. My wife remarked that the salad was incredibly fresh, and she claimed the lasagna was the best she's ever had. I ordered the Parmigiana Combo, which came with meatballs, sausages, and eggplant. It might just be the best Italian food I've ever tasted. The dessert was delightful, and the service was outstanding. The only downside is that we live quite far away. We loved it and hope to return soon. It was a fantastic experience!

The pizza here is exceptional! We always call ahead to place our order because we’re willing to drive 30 minutes just to enjoy it. Our experiences at this restaurant have always been fantastic.
