Captain's Corner - Brookridge

This has always been Pits Lounge and Louie's Bowling Center. Don and Richard have bought it and making great changes. Laurie is still here running the bar and kitchen. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is awesome. The burgers are huge, the wings are good and the Philly steak and cheese are juicy and just the way you want them. I am not a bar person but i eat breakfast and lunch in here any time i am close. The people are awesome. If you come here a few times they know you by name.

A friend of mine visiting from Massachusetts wanted to grab drinks on a Sunday night before leaving and we stumbled on this little place, at first we were a bit sketched out being that outside didn't have too much lighting but so glad we went in. This little hole in the wall made us feel super comfortable, the regulars there playing pool were very friendly and funny and the bartender was a doll, super nice and talkative and even gave us free Jell-O shots! The drinks she made were so awesome I'm actually making them at home myself! Lol If you're looking to just chill and have a drink without the crowd, definitely try this little place!!!

Drinks are reasonably priced and there's good food on the menu. There's always an event or special going on. It's usually pretty lively and full of people of various age groups.

At Captain's Corner there are almost always multiple things going on at once pool, bowling, a live band or great selection playing on the Juke Box, league nights (bowling, pool, darts), once a week Meetup Trivia Night.... When I eat I usually always have the Captain's Burger with Onion Rings. There's a great $5 all day/all night Double Captain Morgans Coke special. There are also two smoking areas: one in front and one out back, both with seating. Out back there's a roofed over deck with lawn table, chairs and umbrella, a fully screened in room to sit at outside to eat, drink, or smoke... and also the choice to sit at a full sized picnic table out back. It's pretty cool. Nice barmaids, cooks, managers, owner and pretty cool crowd.
