Sofia Mexican - Brooklyn

The waiter was pleasant, but unfortunately the food was just average. Unfortunately, this is the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever visited.

I typically stick to my usual orders at restaurants, but I always make sure to get the handmade tortillas at this Mexican restaurant because they are a rare find and absolutely delicious.

I used to really enjoy this restaurant, but I was disappointed to see that the price of the veggie taco increased from $3 to $5. They also used to give two tortillas per taco, but now they only give one. It's a shame. There are many other great taco options in the area, so I would recommend skipping Sofia's.

The woman who picks up the phone (I think she?s the owner/manager) has to be the rudest person I have encountered in food service. I used to order from here all the time and even though her attitude is such a turn off, I enjoyed the food here. But Idrew the line when she hung up on me because she got impatient and basically said to call back when I stopped being indecisive.And it is such a shame, because the food is actually decent. That woman has to learn social skills and BASIC MANNERS or getsomeone else to answer the phone. I stopped ordering from here to avoid having to put up with such rudeness, I don?t care howgood the food may be.

This was an acquired taste. I personally could not finish any of it. I threw everything out. My taste buds felt hoodwinked. I tried adding hot sauce to help me eat it. The hot sauce did not help.
