Literally the best food in brooklyn! The pao de quiejo is incredible and addictive, the Spanish octopus is to die for. The moqueca is creamy and delicious, the chicken burger is bomb. I literally come here every other week and bring friends. I dont work for them in any way im just a Jamaican girl who loves great food

The taste of home! Exactly what I needed in this holiday times when I'm far away.

I ordered feijoada. It was supposed have meat bacon sausage in it . I literaly got rice and black beans! Not inside. The rice was like mash . I'm real disappointed

I 'm going to write this review in two places because they 're just that amazing.While living in Brooklyn, this was one of our go to spots because the food is incredible. It 's always kind of a side eye moment when someone touts best ____ in _____ in this case, it was Best french toast in Brooklyn and honestly, I can 't even be mad at it because it is freakin ' delicious. Everything else I 've tried on the menu is also just as good, not to mention their cocktails.When my partner and I got married, we decided to have a little reception lunch at Santo and I 'm so grateful we did. Naina, Sarah, and the staff were amazing they were communicative from the start (believe me, not all vendors are built this way), accommodating (it got pretty hot in the backyard and they graciously let us take over the upstairs even though it meant more cleaning), and even helped personalize the menus for us. Everyone absolutely raved about the food and the generous portions.Thank you Santo!!

My girlfriend and I visited Santo to try their burger for brunch. The individual ingredients were all top notch especially the wagyu beef , though the composition of the sandwich itself was questionable. The patty is very fat and bulbous, and after being topped with bacon the thing is so tall that it’s borderline impossible to eat. It would also probably benefit from having less ingredients flavor wise. It’s just too much. I know that’s a lot of critique for a cheeseburger, but at the outrageous price of $32 you expect something nearing perfection.There was also a muted television playing PIXAR movies ?? in their dining room, which made me feel more like I was in a pediatric waiting room or Chuck E Cheese than a nice restaurant.
