Bidrage med feedbackI am from out of town and luckily found an AirBnB nearby this restaurant and its adjoining café. Last night, I ordered takeout from the restaurant and enjoyed a delicious handmade tagliatelle pasta with mixed mushrooms. This morning, I visited the café and had a wonderful coffee and almond croissant.
This restaurant has an amazing atmosphere! It is very warm and trendy. There are plenty of cozy corners and areas to socialize and dine. Be sure to try the homemade pasta with mushrooms - it is absolutely delicious!
I would just like to start by saying that this is one of my favorite bars (Ringolevio in the front, 456 bar in he back) I’ve ever been to. Because I was staying in the area to see Phish December 28-31 of 2017, we utilized this bar on every capacity possible. It was beyond frigid and we were so thankful to have this so close; we essentially used it as our living room. What a living room it was! Excellent ambiance inside and out, cool, thoughtful art, excellent brunch and drinks and the staff- oh my goodness the staff. Since we stayed for 5 days, the 7 of us were so thankful to have such an amazing place to hang out- amazing music and some of the best folks you could ever happen to encounter in any establishment. We all became friends and there simply wasn’t another option of a place to go when we needed brunch, a quick beer/cocktail before heading into the city for the shows at Madison Square garden, or a night cap before bed. We first met Shy, a great server and super kind person as well as Lola and Lim. They were all soooooo great, and I love all three of them! We soon got to know Andrew and Ryan as well as the owner Paul. They were all great- No complaints on our 5 days of being there. Paul has cultivated an amazing space which i will return to anytime I’m in the area. And let’s not forget Al at the door at night- he greeted me by name and welcomed me in the door for the late night. I simply can’t say enough good about this place! Come here, you won’t regret it. Also, make a game of trying to see all there is to see In this funky, quirky, awesome, welcoming space. 11/10 is my review
Amazing atmosphere, live music more days of the week than not, staff is a bunch of rockstars, food is excellent. i really can’t say enough good things about this place. bk steel has brought a new wave of people in and they handle it with expertise.
Ringolevio is a small, cozy Mediterranean spot with awesome service and delicious food. The service here is tiptop; our waiter was incredibly welcoming and helpful. We shared a collection of three crostinis. Our favorite was the bresaola crostini. It was ridiculous. We LOVE love love blue cheese and the salty meat paired so incredibly with the tangy gorgonzola. I could have inhaled another three by myself. Chris ordered a spinach and ricotta ravioli with pork and beef bolognese from their evening specials and I ordered rosemary skewered lamb kabobs with a side of roasted gorgonzola beets. For dessert our server graciously offered us both a glass of dessert wine and we paired that with their panna cotta. One of my favorite things about this restaurant was the serving size. Yes, I was stuffed but the portions were reasonable and we finished everything. To read our full review, check out our blog Two Forks and a Corkscrew.
