This place has a special place in my heart. I've been here for a few years and I've never been disappointed. I remember a few years back, even in the bryant park for her pop-up, they had that is how dedicated to the pierogi youngs I am. every time I get to the DeKlab marketplace, I see myself thinking about something else, but 99.5 % of the time comes here. where to start the pierogis are always perfect near and the kisbasa is always plump and juicy. Do not miss this place really an apfel zu brooklyns auge.
Positiw: delicious and huge pierogis! great Veggie options. negatiw: a bit overpriced (like most dinge in the dekalb market).
Visits on weekday afternoon, after work. not too full. it was hard to find a street parking so they might expect to spend some time when they bring a car. the location is close to the underground station. the subway would be easier to get to the restaurant. bestellung pierogi, suppe borscht und flaschen amber weizen pszeniczniak. pierogi was very good. sweet, fleshy and very tasteful. I've never tried Polish food, but I think it tastes pretty good. suppe was very new. I have never imagined this kind of taste. the beet makes a good soup material. I liked it. flavor is quite thick and strong. bier is very tasteful! I felt like drinking ipa/dark/Wheat beer at the same time. I loved it.
Ordered the Pierogi Sampler Platter (2 Potato Cheese Pierogi, 2 Sauerkraut Mushroom Pierogi, and 2 Meat Pierogi). Potato and cheese was definitely the standout, while meat was nothing special. Wished the sauerkraut was more punchy, but overall the pierogis were super filling and substantial. And love Dekalb Market for the options and vibes!
