I don?t write many bad reviews after working in the service industry for many years. However, this is about the third time I?ve dined here and had pretty poor service. The excuse always is that they are understaffed. And the only reason why we?ve comeback is because the food is good. However, we won?t be back this time. Being understaffed is one thing, completely ignoringcustomers, making poor decisions and giving bad service is a choice! Today, they were understaffed once again and it was a verybusy day because of the weather. Again, you can easily check the weather forecast if you are a restaurant with an outdoor diningarea to see whether you should be adding staff on for the day. 1. We waited 15 minutes before someone came to our table afterseating us. Maybe longer! The problem with that is we were next to two tables that were getting service so they made a choice toignore us as they continued to walk by and not even acknowledge us. They could?ve just simply said we are very sorry and wewill be with you soon but nothing. I literally had to get up from my table, walk to the bar and grab the water bottle for ourparty. 2. It was freezing cold and everyone in the restaurant had their jackets on. I asked if there could be something doneabout the temperature and they acknowledged that the air conditioner was on but there was nothing they could do about it. 3.Our drinks sat at the bar while the bartender came out behind the bar and waited on tables next to us but let our drinks justsit there. Our server also walked past the bar with our drinks sitting there several times. Anyone in the service industry knowsthe saying, full hands in and full hands out. We were literally sitting next to the table that the bartender was helping. Therewere multiple opportunities to drop our drinks off. However, I had to ask for our drinks. 4. Another example of poor decisionmaking and bad service, my mom asked for a cup of coffee and when the coffee was placed on the t
Nice staff. The pizza is woodfired. The wine is over $50 a bottle. I got the fish which was delicious, but I finished my meal by taking my daughter?s uneaten pizza crust and sopping up all of the sauce. Next time I would choose a pizza as that is theirspecialty. No bread while you wait.
This place peaked my interest after a walk in the park. Very spacious and pleasant atmosphere. For drinks i found the salers moon (aperol, prosecco, apéritif and grapefruit) very refreshing in the heat. A little too sweet but very generous insize. Shout-out to a recent reviewer. Instead of their pizza, i went with the buratta. Very unique appetizer. I have never hadburatta wrapped in baked pizza dough. It arrived on a bed of nettles farce, Calabrian chili sauce, caper berries, tomato confitand olives (which i took out, never been a fan). It was very satisfied with this dish. Very much like a deconstructed pizza.Perfect and filling for one person. Would return to enjoy their gorgeous decor
A laid back neighborhood spot with a simple, yet well formed menu. A subdued elegance with plenty of outdoor seating too. Challenge your taste buds and your tooth'ly skills with the marinated olives: on the pit, and sumptuously meaty...yummm.
