Kimchee Market - Brooklyn

I was very disappointed with the portion sizes at this restaurant, even though the food was tasty. I ordered the tteokbokki (rice cakes) for $11, and the photo on the menu accurately portrayed how it was served - barely a third of the container was filled with a small amount of food. There were only four bites worth of food in the entire dish. I also ordered wings for a total of $30, but I was still hungry afterwards. While the food was delicious, I found the pricing for the portions to be unreasonable.

I have ordered from this restaurant a few times and the Soondobu Jigae is incredible. The purple rice is cooked perfectly. Even though I usually don't enjoy denjang jigae, I found it to be really good here. The only downside is that the portions are a bit small, but overall, it is an excellent Korean restaurant!

Awesome spot for Korean groceries or pre-made. The beef bulgogi was amazing.

12.99 for a delicious lunch box with LA Galbi. Need I say more?
