Kevin's - Brooklyn

Amazing! Our new favorite restaurant takes off. We went on Saturday night and fell in love with Kevins right away. The food, the music and the staff were perfect. 100% come back with friends and family.

Stumbled across this cute cafe when our embarcation on our cruise ship was delayed. Happy to have stumbled in. Kevin himself waited on us as his staff wasn't there yet. Delicious freshly ground French press coffee. Great brunch options. My husband had a lobster roll that he said was delicious and reasonably priced. My breakfast was also delicious, I had the lemongrass steak which was to die for! Better than the steak on the subsequent cruise actually. Totally recommend.

Kevin's is a charming, old-fashioned restaurant that I really enjoy. The seafood is fantastic. For brunch, I had a whole trout served on a bed of greens, accompanied by two fried eggs with Hollandaise sauce and a horseradish cream. You won't find this dish anywhere else, which is one of the things I appreciate about Kevin's. It's definitely more homey than fancy— a true neighborhood spot. The waitress is always very sweet, and you can visit on a Saturday night without being overwhelmed by noise and crowds. While not every dish is a standout, the food is uncomplicated and straightforward.

Tucked away in Red Hook, this brunch gem is definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend the lobster omelet – it’s fantastic! The service is excellent as well.

The atmosphere was wonderful and the service was excellent. I had to take away one star due to the presence of bits of shell in the crab dish. I also wish there had been a bit more salt in my pasta.
