Bidrage med feedbackGreat place for drinks and food. The sausage roll is a must! Servers are super nice and attentive. They even let our dogs inside since it was raining. Would definitely go back!
The food was good but the owner seems careless. It was cold Wednesday night, we were just lookikg for someplace to drink and watch the Knicks. There should be small speakers installed inside the outdoor seating paired with the TVs and there should be some type of heating. Take care of your customers and they'll takd care of you.
Feels ridiculous to call an Ale House the best bar in NYC, but it just might compete for best sport bars when you factor everything in. Fancy? No. But a salt of the earth establishment stepping up the plate on quality above all else? 7 days a week. Sneakily incredible pub food, great viewing/seating, good energy with no nonsense patrons and staff, and overall just a place that knows what it's there for.
I've been meaning to get to this bar for a long time and it was worth the wait. The bartender, Siobhan, was wonderful. The beer and drinks are at a good price point and so is the food. I had the Irish Pork Sausage wrapped in Puff Pastry and it was very . I have to try the Shrimp Skewer the next time. The view from here is very nice. They also have outdoor seating. The vibe is laid back and the people there were very nice. I met some nice people there. This might be one of my new hangouts.
Nice outside area with beautiful views of city skyline. Plenty of TVs to watch games. No cheap beers, but there is a $6 Kent pilsner (I think it 's Miller Lite). Burger is excellent. Staff is super friendly. Not a pretentious hipster/yuppie bar. Chill place with good mix of people.
