Ihop - Brooklyn

As everyone is aware of it, yesterday was veterans day. our server was julissa who was a sweet woman. the service was okay, I guess they were a little short worker. everything started cool until it was at the time to order, it was not really interacting with our table as its other tables. I was told that my wife couldn't get the pancakes because she wasn't the veteran understandable, so I paid for them, however not standing there and giving rabate for their fellows who wasn't right at all. family is one, but the friends? Moreover, it took forever to get hot water for the silver lining, it took forever to get the check, although I am more than the free pancakes and overall I will return to my usual veterans day ihop next year.

It was pretty empty however, we had to wait 10mins. Okay no problem. The table we were seated at was dirty. We waited another five minutes for wait staff, whom I had to asked her to clean the table. Coffee was hot food was great. I guess it was a staffing issue.Food: 5/5

Horrible experience on September 15th. On entering the restaurant 3 things caught my attention: no hostess, a line sitting waiting to be seated and the restaurant was empty of diners.The hostess finally came to me after 7 minutes to ask me to wait five (5) minutes to be seated. She came back after 10 to start seating people who were waiting before me. Then disappeared again.Came back after 20 minutes to tell me it will be best for me to take out because there is only 2 servers and they have to serve the people before me. WHY ask me to wait the first time you saw me. You should’ve told me this from the beginning instead of waiting a total of 30 minutes just to say I will not get a table. Terrible. Will never step foot there. Not that the manager or owner cares anyways.

They were low on staff when I went in and there was a slight issue with the portion of food but they fixed it and they gave great vibes. The manager was very polite and they made my birthday extremely special although it wasn’t much I gave a 2$ tip I recommend you give a tip when you go and be polite to them because you experience will be amazing.

Practically empty. The host must have missed his morning coffee because he looked like he wanted to be anywhere but here. My server was nice though. The pancakes aren't what they used to be and the bacon was very greasy. Wouldn't go back unless I was starving. Place felt like eating in an abandoned building....think pop-up IHOP store...
