Bidrage med feedbackMoving into this neighborhood and checking every local restaurant possible, and so far this was the highlight, freaking delicious. Although it is not marked on the menu, they have many vegan options. The service was exceptionally very personal and it is obviously made with love. our server I think was one of the owners hit the next time that we had the day before so that she was especially for us some extra vegan plates I thought was nice. All round and amazing experience highly recommended.
I just had dinner and LOVED for the first time. A friend and I cleave the sorted pkhali, sorted pickles (including pepperoncini, pickles and a kind of picked flower stem, mushroom ojakhuri (including roasted potato wedges, onions and a red sauce was a bit remembered by patatas band, potato dumplings and order of Georgian bread and mchadi (corn bread). We also had a bottle of orange wine. (Note: it was a lot of food and my rests heated up perfectly the next day. I couldn't believe everything was vegan! Our server was wonderful and the cook came out to see how we liked the food. The server shared that everything is homemade (including bread and made to order. It was my first time with Georgia Essen and was really such a great meal. Very recommended and cannot wait to go back. You also have a nice street seating for outdoor dining.
It was an amazing discovery while our stay in Brooklyn. We had never had georgian food before and the waiter explain to us the menu and help us try the most iconic dishes. They also have a great selection of Georgian wine and they were delicious! It's a must try ? they also have cute terrace! We'll be back next time we visit Brooklyn!
Fresh and delicious food, super nice service, good prices and highly recommended. We were there twice and also took away food, which is recommended because Adjaruli Khachapuri and Khinkali. To drink i would recommend the georgian lemonade darchun or one of the georgian wines. Always happy ?.
My wife and I are big fans of authentic Georgian food and this is one of those place.First time we had lunch at Ubani on Manhattan (it was great) and I was heading home from Brooklyn and couldn’t stop myself from ordering food at this place. The place itself is super nice and clean, stuff is professional and friendly. The most important part food.I ordered different dishes, so: khinkali with beef and pork. The dough is perfect and the meat inside with a lot of juices and proper seasonings and herbs as it should be! Love it! khachapuri migruli. Delicious! Cheese is salty enough but not too much, the top layer of dough is paper thin and slightly crispy. Perfect texture. Just melting in the mouth. Sorry for the picture of it like that.., as soon as I opened the box I couldn’t stop myself ? delicious! chicken and pork skewers. Grate marinade. I think this should be eaten right away as it’s made. But even after reheating the meat was really good! salad with walnuts… oh boy, if you haven’t tried that yet than go for it. No regrets whatsoever. napoleon desert. Great quality (and the size of it) desert. Made by people who know what they’re doing for sure. So, I’m happy we have these 2 restaurants in the city and definitely will come back!
