The service was great and friendly. I’m a vegetarian who chose this place because my husband wanted a good steak restaurant for his birthday that offers vegetarian options for me. He really liked his Wagyu steak, which he ordered rare . I loved my Carroll Garden Winter salad and creamy Pablano Mac Cheese. We’ll be back.
The food here was excellent. The service was very good and the prices, while expensive, were consistent with a top notch steakhouse. The only thing is this doesn’t feel like Wolfgang’s or Peter Lugers. It is a small local place with a lively local bar crowd watching tv and speaking loudly ten feet away from your table. The food, however, was impeccable
We had the Tomato Burrata, Poblano Mac Cheese, Hangar Steak with fries and the Seared Salmon with asparagus and wild rice. Everything was delicious! The Hangar Steak was absolutely moist and flavorful! I would swap out the fries for mashed potato. Portions are perfect! Service, wonderful and friendly! Have starred this as a favorite on my maps!
Steak was good but most definitely overpriced for Park Slope and no sides. Go with the specials to get more bang for your buck. Ambiance is antiquated and dull. We will not return for that price, rather go to the city and pick a high-end steakhouse.
