Father Knows Best - Brooklyn

I always wanted to try this place because of the reviews but I was sooooo disappointed .I walked in and sat down and I was ignored by all waitstaff no one came to inform me it?s self service that you order at the bar you also serve your own water and when I ordered coffee I had to get up for a 3rd time to ask for sugar not relaxing . Food was just ok paid 26 dollars chorizo ok salad was just greens and onions eggs were not scrambled soft as I asked and the biscuits werecold ! I expect more from a restaurant but that?s just me will not be returning.

My first time here and definitely not the last, I feel that I've found my new favorite restaurant ???????? the staff here are kind and accommodating, the atmosphere is complete with a great playlist and if you get the chance to meet the owner you'll see that he's a warm conversationalist and is very easy going. As you can see I totally forgot to get an initial food photo because I immediately started eating and couldn't stop ????. I recommend the egg sandwich with avocado.

The bartender was amazing ! He knew exactly what me and my friend wanted ! Charming and cozy atmosphere perfect bar nearby!

Visited on a business trip. Making my way through hidden gems in the various burroughs of New York (because Manhattan isn't the only place for good eats in NY), I saw some good reviews and decided to mark this one on the map. Fortunately I was not dossapointed. Hip environment with friendly upbeat staff. Good coffee was served up with a bold flavor, and the chicken sandwich with rosemary fries were both delicious and went very well together. They have outside seating in both the front and the back which adds to the vibe. The menu is limited somewhat depending on the time you go, but I like the fact that it is brunch pretty much every day of the week up until 4pm or so, then switches to a dinner menu at 5:30. That means a different experience if I head back there at a later time. Good stuff in the heart of Brooklyn, will definitely be back soon!

Hi! I love this place especially because they had the BEST pancakes i have ever had imagine, vegan banana bread chocolate chip pancakes with caramelized strawberries and bananas topped with coconut rum sauce. HEAVEN. Unfortunately not on the menu anymore (please bring it back !!!! but the breakfast burrito is also pretty top notch
